Oh, Joy!

This is a photo of one of our (three!) trees using a DIY bokeh filter.

@Lu There are some instructions here (http://www.diyphotography.net/diy_create_your_own_bokeh) and you can make them with craft punches of any shape. But if you don't want to go through the trouble, you can buy them here (http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/bokeh-Kit/).

Even though I made mine to slip over my lens, I actually found it more useful to be able to move it around to alter the position, size, and sharpness of the heart shapes. Also, be sure either to use manual focus or push your AE/AF button to force the shutter to release because the frame may not be in focus per the camera's "thinking".
