He thinks he can read.

He can't.  But I haven't informed him of that minor fact yet.

I understand a little more of my mother's pain, and guilt for my own behavior, when my brother and I didn't get along, after seeing A2's adoration/admiration pointed out.

A 2 year age difference is huge! He can climb higher, he can read, he does mysterious things when he's off to school all day. It's a lot to admire.

(But in public, A2 defends A1 against the world's assaults.)
