Laguna Coast Wilderness Park

We landed on 3 of their parking lot entrances.  Their signs had very pretty animal silhouette cutouts...much prettier than other wilderness park signs--I imagine it's related to the local, thriving art community.

A2 gave the dust storm making, rock climbing leg of this adventure 2 thumbs up.

But the rest, the hiking and nature center, only got a single thumbs up from everyone.

The approval rating went WAY up when caves were discovered!  Though A1 was very scared their might be bears residing in them!

When no bears were found, the boys figured they'd be the bears themselves.

Yes, your kids play in the dirt a lot. Yay for all of you!

I think it's funny that it reads, "Nix..."

I guess it's the Chinese part of me that thinks language has an effect, and homonyms can be important!

Mr. Nix says it's unkind to make fun of his name. That being said, I laughed so hard at your comment because it nixed nature indeed! There were so many parts of the park that were roped off.

I hate roped off parts. Look but don't touch is begging for a slap.
