Oh, fudge!

I am very imprecise in the kitchen--I don't measure out quantities carefully and substitute ingredients willy-nilly. This renders candy-making an activity that is just about out of reach for me.

And then there's fudge. I have to use a candy thermometer and everything! I suppose all that stress is worth it because I totally dig fudge. Not that you can tell--there's something about brown food that just doesn't photograph well!

Okay, it's not just 'cause I'm really tired, but that comment about brown food just cracks me up.

Brown is a great complementary color. What about pairing brown food with food or garnish of another color?

Oh, yeah! That fudge really needed the standard mint leaves & raspberry garnish!
