Thanks for stopping by! Let me know you've been here by posting a comment. Pretty please with a fabric yo-yo and vintage brooch on top?
Blogging for myself is lonely and you'd really make my day. And while you're at it, go to my photography blog and leave a comment there too!

Hair!

A2 looks younger than his actual age. One of the contributing factors is (was?) his baldness. But his hair finally seems to be coming in. Here he is at 17 months.

Not a great view of his head, but here he is at 18 months.

And here he is just last week at 19 months.
19 months

They change in the blink of an eye at this age, don't they? I know that if I were working, I would miss so many precious moments, but sometimes I think I miss a great many moments anyhow because I don't stop to look. We're always running, running, running.

A2 is napping now. I think I'll close my laptop so I can stare at him until I get my fill.

I think that missing the moments is what allows us to perceive change in a way that's meaningful; it's like the frog in the pot being slowly brought to boil, or the idea that a watched pot never boils. The silence between the notes gives us music.

Beautiful sentiments. You know, the music part, not the dead amphibian part. :)
